This is my kind of romance drama. A romance beween Choi Ung (Choi Woo Sik) and Kook Yeonsu (Kim Da Mi). It started when they were in High School, they’re selected to film a documentary about a girl who is number on in school and a boy who is completely different from the girl. Their interaction is so cute, the bickering, it makes them feels comfortable and close to each other.Continue reading “Our Beloved Summer”
What an experience. Binge-watching 9 eps of Squid Game is so tense and super interesting. Not only I can feel the game they are playing, but I feel like I can understand each of the characters. Starting from Gi Hun (Lee Jung Jae) whose life is so messed up: in debt, a gambler, divorced with the condition he can’t be a good ‘dad’ to his only daughter, still depends on his mother.Continue reading “Squid Game”
Gosh I finally can write this. My queue is long and I think I can only share a little what I think about this fave drama, cos it’s a must try drama for me.
One thing I love about K-drama is they have various themes. We have a lot of Law dramas, but for this case, Law School is very interesting for me. I think this is my first law school drama, usually we only watch crime drama with lawyer/prosecutor background. Law School is something beyond my expectation and makes me fall in love with the cast.
Vincenzo is kinda drama that everybody loves. At least most of the people I know like it. So I won’t actually write synopsis, revew or recap. Vincenzo in my opinion is kind of a complete package that can entertain viewers with the plot, comedy scenes (like blood and pistols everywhere), some touching story, crime, unique characters, visuals (of course who can ignore Song Joong Ki’s charm) and even there’s light romance that sparks our heart. Yup, I like all the characters in the drama even the viallin is so villain like we want to burn them.Continue reading “Vincenzo”
Based on a popular Chinese Series with the same title, A Love So Beautiful (2017), the Korean Version is seemingly lighter than the original one. Airing in kakaotv and netflix, this drama uses Kim Jong Kook’s song Loveable (2005) as the opening song, now covered by SinB from GFriend. It sounds so fresh and young.Continue reading “A Love So Beautiful”
I can say one of my favorite dramas. It’s such a healing and therapeutic series for me. I like the scenario, the plot, the characters and everything. Even the cinematography is nice. You won’t find typical second lead syndrome or love triangle something like that. I salute to the writer, she’s a rookie writer but can touch us viewers with the story. Light and breezy, like my friend said.Continue reading “Run On”
Finally something different from K-dramaland, The Uncanny Counter, a “Superhero” drama. Not only the premise but the execution is good. Even though in the middle of the airing, the Director has changed due to some internal problems but for me this drama is still good and even more appreciated with good ratings. They even hit the highest rating of OCN drama of all time.Continue reading “The Uncanny Counter”
Based on the title, this drama is basically a record of youth of some young people who are struggling about their lives and love. With Park Bo Gum and Park So Dam act as leads, I have high expectation, especially because the director is the one who made the award winning drama, Stranger Season 1.Continue reading “Record of Youth”
Let me write some throwback post. Still 17 also known as Thirty but Seventeen is kind of my drama that I can watch many times. Today I just finished my 4th time rewatching it. This light and enjoyable romantic comedy drama really touches my heart.Continue reading “Still 17”
Stranger 2 also known as Secret Forest 2 ended finally with open ending. Many people think that there will be Season 3. Though this season for me is not as solid as the season 1, but still Stranger is one of the best drama in K-drama land. The intense emotions, the twist and the strong characters are undeniably great.Continue reading “Stranger 2”
