CNBLUE 9th Mini Album WANTED

CNBLUE is back everyone. This time they release rock genre. Yonghwa, as the composer of mostly songs in the album said that he wants to make songs that suitable for concerts. OMG, it’s been a while since the last time I came to their concert. Was it 2017 for Between Us tour. Though in early 2020 before this pandemic, I attended Yonghwa’s solo concert in Bangkok, but surely CNBLUE concert is different.

As fans, I really really love this rock genre album. The upbeat-song Love Cut as the title track is perfect choice. From the acoustic guitar to the bass play, and fast drum beats surely give us good vibes. With the Wild Wild West theme MV, it’s really catchy and different than CNBLUE’s comebacks before. This is the first time they act in the MV, without playing instruments.

Jung Yong Hwa – Reply Project Vol.1 Would You Marry Me?

First song after military discharge. You, Me, Us (Would you marry me?) is a song written & co-composed by Yonghwa. This song is featuring his best friends: Lee Joon, Yoon Doo Joon of Highlight and Kwang Hee. Four of them started their friendship since probably 10 years ago, when they were still rookies in the industry and until now it’s still going strong.

This is not their first collaboration as they were together for Infinite Challenge 4 years ago. Thanks to Kwanghee, he brought them to perform in that show for the mission as wedding singers. At that time Yonghwa was also taking part for the arrangement.

The Package

The Package. One of the best underrated dramas. The “tour” theme is different than any other typical Korean drama. Story about a group of tourists in a package tour to Paris. Lead by a Korean tour guide and every traveler who joins this tour has their own stories. That’s what make this drama interesting.

The storyline is not only focus on the main leads but also the other casts. The overall story is light but solid. My favorite story beside the leads: The tour guide, Yoon So So (Lee Yeon Hee) and one of the travelers, San Maroo (Jung Yong Hwa) is about Jung Yeon Sung (Ryu Seung Soo) and Na Hyeon (Park Yoo Na). A father and a daughter. I can cry watching their story. Being a single father with one teenager daughter is not easy and for their case is touching.
