Yumi’s Cells

Yumi’s Cells is such a cute and fresh drama. It’s not specifically a romance but for me it’s like a slice of life that shows us how cells work in Yumi’s body to address all of her life issues. The cells are shown with super cute animation. Based on the same webtoon, Yumi’s Cells, this drama is well excuted for me. And I can say it’s a must watch if you’re a regular Korean Drama viewers.

A Poem A Day

Just a few days ago, I finished watching this Korean Drama for probably third time. It’s a 2018 drama, but I think I still need to write it on this page. A light yet very deep drama… Slice of life. This kind of drama is my favorite. The characters are seemingly real. Romance is still the attractive part but the purpose of this drama I think about dreams and reality. You maybe have different opinion and view but that’s what I got from watching this.

Seeing this feels like so real. Changing dream just because your condition doesn’t allow you to study based on your passion, but choose to study and work on something you probably never think of before. Who knows you end up enjoying what you do today and decide to focus on that, be the best in the field.

Gu Family Book

Gu Family Book

Yup I think it’s romance after all. I love the story line. I have watched ‘gumiho’ story before, My Girlfriend is a Gumiho which Seung Ki played the lead also with Shin Min Ah, but this is different version. If I have to compare to that, this one is more deeper. I mean how Kang Chi wants to be a human and how he has good heart. An outspoken character who is also unique and lovable. That’s what Yeo Wool like from him.

Yeo Wool is the character I like the most in the drama. She really tried hard to protect Kang Chi and Suzy really proves her acting skill here. Fighting and Romance scenes. When I watched Suzy on Dream High and BIG, I saw her only as an Idol who acts. But now, she improves a lot.

And the romance between Yeo Wool and Kang Chi is undeniable. The  fight and love each other. Yeo Wool who really knows how to handle Kang Chi and Kang Chi that finally realised that Yeo Wool is the one for him. How can they handle their relationship while Kang Chi is only half-human. They are so sweet I can even watch twice, always excited to the ending. And how they end up? Spoiler for you who hasn’t watched yet, if they end up together, one of them might die. Aaaaarh.

PS. This drama also as the proven for  Sung Joon, Lee Yoo Bi, And Yoo Yun Suk (Our Chilbongie :D) as the good actors and to be known by many viewers. They play very good. That’s why I love all the casts here.

Innocent Man

Innocent Man Poster

It’s the end. Innocent Man, aka Nice Guy or ‘Chakan Namja’ finally comes to an end. This K-drama is one of the best drama this year. I cried a lot and smiled a lot while watching it. All 20 episodes are awesomely awesome.

When I watch first episode makes we want to watch more and more. It’s for sure a romance drama. A melodrama. I like Song Joong Ki’s character here. He’s portraying character Kang Ma Roo very well. He suffers a lot in this drama. Moon Chae Won as Seo Eun Gi is also playing good. Her chemistry with Joong KI is also smooth here.
