After the drama finished airing, I finally decided to watch this drama marathon. Ji Sung and Mido attached me to watch, and I believe they chose the right project. 14 episode only, but this drama is already tense from the start. Thanks to the good story and the actors who play this drama very well.
The story is about Jeong Jae Kyung (Ji Sung) who is an ace detective. He’s assigned to a drug task force at Anhyeon Police Station. One day, when he covers a case, he’s drugged by someone and it makes him addicted. He’s a police with a good principle. He’s suffering when handle the case, because this case connecting to many cases and involving many people.
The case that related to drugs, is also connecting to his old friends. One of his friends Park Jeon So (Yoon Na Moo) died and he left huge amount of money to Jae kyung and Oh Yoon Jin (Jeon Mi Do). When solving this case, he gets help by his friends Oh Yoon Jin and Heo Ju Song (Jung Soon Won). Yoon Jin is a reporter and focuses on corruption. Both are also Jae Kyung’s friends from High School and their connection making the story more interesting.
The pace is fast and tense from the start. And from what I understand that this drama is basically about friendship. The loyalty, the betrayal, needs validation from people around you and end up everything has changed to be a huge issue along the time. Oh… I think some viewers are like me, has a thin hope for a romance in the drama but there is not. Haha it’s purely friendship so far?!
It’s fun if you like crime, thriller, and action drama. Ji Sung is no doubt killed it. Amazed with Kwon Yul here too… He played as Park Tae Jin, one of their friends. He acts really good, never failed either it’s crime drama or romance. I watched it marathon and it’s dark, but still fun to watch. I can’t wait to see what’s gonna happen next, no fast-forward.
