Wah, what a fun and interesting drama! Dr. Baek Kang Hyuk is an all-rounder doctor. He has a lot of experience in the medical field. He has worked in conflict areas to provide medical services – a genius doctor even in difficult situations.
What’s even more interesting is that his character is so messy, like a bulldozer, and he even breaks the rules.
One day, Dr. Baek Kang Hyuk (Ju Ji Hoon) is recommended by the Minister of Health to improve the Trauma Team in a hospital. Of course, at first, people are surprised by his actions. To improve the Trauma Team, he can’t do it alone. He works with unique characters: Dr. Yang Jae Won (Choo Yeong Woo), Nurse Cheon Jang Mi (Ha Young), and Anesthesiologist Park Gyeong Won (Jeong Jae Kwang).
Actually, Dr. Yang belonged to the proctological surgery department, which is led by Dr. Han Yu Rim (Yoon Kyung Ho). But in the end, Dr. Yang is scouted by Dr. Baek to support him in the Trauma Team. Dr. Baek wants the Trauma Team to become a Trauma Center. It’s quite difficult because the Trauma Team has been known as a financial deficit for the hospital, making it hard to get more resources. However, the Trauma Team is an essential part, especially in emergencies, especially in cases of severe injuries.
The medical theme is common, but the way the director and writer make it so interesting is impressive. The characters of Dr. Baek, Dr. Yang, Nurse Cheon, and Dr. Park are so cool and funny. I think this is the strongest point of the drama. The details of the characters are well presented. Since it’s adapted from a webtoon, it feels real. The team slowly grows closer and works well together in difficult situations. We also get to see common hospital issues such as politics, financial struggles, etc.
For me, it’s a must-watch because Dr. Baek is so impressive, and overall, it’s very entertaining. Not only that, but the value of being a doctor is also highlighted. Love it!
