It’s been a while since I watched this drama, but I think I need to write a little something here. Not a long post, just a brief note in case some of you might consider watching it.
It’s a story about Jung Heewan, a 24-year-old woman living a lonely and passionless life. One day, her childhood friend suddenly appears at her house. He’s a friend from high school, and they used to have feelings for each other. His name is Kim Ram-woo and he’s now a grim reaper.

Ramwoo shows up because Heewan is destined to die in a week, and he’s there to grant her final wishes. She only needs to call his name three times. But Heewan ends up enjoying the time she spends with him and doesn’t want to part ways with him again-it had been too painful before. She also refuses to call him. Eventually, Ramwoo encourages her to make a wishlist of things she wants to do before she dies, and they complete it together.

From the very start, I knew this drama would be sad, but I still watched it—because it’s the kind of story that pulls you in right away. Maybe because it only has six episodes, it’s perfect for a binge-watch. I was also impressed by the acting of the two leads – their chemistry is great and their performances are superb. I’m not too familiar with cinematography, but in my opinion, it’s beautifully shot and very pleasing to the eye.
Oh, and Krystal makes a cameo in Episode 5 as well – she plays a grim reaper, just like Kim Ramwoo.
