Whoa this is what I like about K-drama, the variety of theme they give us. This time it’s about The Auditors. I had been an auditor too for a long and I am really into the drama, because I think I can relate to this.
Starring Shin Ha Kyun, the veteran award winner actor, acts as Shin Cha Il. He works as Audit Team Leader at JU Construction, hired by JU It’s like an internal auditor, or we can say like compliance auditor. He’s known as cold auditor with no negotiation. HIs decision is very sharp, and his work is not based on trust. He works with Goo Han Soo (Lee Jung Ha), a rookie auditor who is very naive and pure. There’s also Yoon Seo Jin (Jo A Ram) in their team, who is also a rookie auditor who seems like she has a suspicious relationship with one of the JU Construction directors, Director Hwang Dae Woon (Jin Goo).
The story every episode is interesting, even though at the end the story is about to be the director of JU, but it’s still relatable. I think the writer is also working good in making the story. Probably the writernim did some research on this to make it looks like real case, with a lot of connections. A lot of twist in this drama, it shows us that we can’t rely on TRUST when we’re talking about professionalism.
As the one who onced an auditor, the story is interesting and relatable. I really enjoyed it. We maybe don’t like how Shin Cha Il works but we somehow need that one kind of person in a company, so that everyone can work based on their role, responsibility, rule and SOP.
It’s 12 eps only so the pace is fast and enjoyable to watch. I think there will be season 2 for this. So let’s wait and see.
