A nice romance drama starring Kim So Hyun and Chae Jong Hyeop. It’s been a while I’ve been entertained by a nice -drama about romance. Only 8 eps but it makes me excited every episode, every week to see what’s gonna happen with these cute couple. I know it’s gonna be a happy ending but still it’s interesting.
It’s about First-Love. Lee Hong Ju (Kim So Hyun) is an animation production PD. She has a bad first-love story. She falls in love in the 3rd grade of High School and dated him after all, Bang Jun Ho (Yun Ji On), a popular writer. After the big break-up she’s been skeptical about love.
After around 10 years, she meets Kang Hu Young (Chae Jong Hyeop), her old friend when in High School who comes back from America for holiday and… work. Hong Ju is his first-love. After meet her, It makes Hu Young doesn’t want to go back to America, and what’s more interesting is that Hong Ju lives just in the same building with him.
Hong Ju has good friends: Kim Hye Ji (Kim Da Som) who always be there for her. She’s an english teacher. And her first-love is Kang Hu Young, haha yeap. And there is also Kwon Sang Pil (Lee Wong Jun) who owns a restaurant.
The story focuses on Hong Ju and Hu Young love story and their friendship. I like that when Hye Ji knows that the one Hu Young falls in love with, she’s accept that with big heart. And she supports Hong Ju and Hu Young. And I like Hu Young character, so bold but sweet. Typical tsundere that we like. I also like the details in this drama, like how finally Hong Ju chooses to be a animation director as her dream. I think that part is very touching.
The eight episode drama is sweet, not only about the first-love but also about the friendship between Hong Ju, Hye Ji and Sang Pil, we can bingewatch on the weekend.
